Lena Valencia is a fiction writer whose work has appeared in Joyland, Epiphany, and Catapult’s Tiny Nighmares anthology. She is the managing editor and director of educational programming at One Story and the former co-host of the HiFi Reading Series.

Ditmas Park local Sarah Bridgins is a writer, performer, and former literary agent. Her work has appeared in Buzzfeed, Tin House, Bustle, and Luna Luna, among other publications. Sarah co-founded the series with Rachel Lyon.

Ditmas Lit is a monthly reading series in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, dedicated to showcasing a diverse range of emerging and established writers in all genres. On the fourth Wednesday of every month, we gather for a drink at Hinterlands Bar at 8PM to listen as poets, essayists, fiction writers, and storytellers share their work.
